Ames 5000SS-OSY-GPM 6" Reduced Pressure Detector Assembly

Ames 5000SS reduced pressure zone backflow preventer assembly is designed to prevent the reverse flow of fire protection substances and water of non-potable quality from being pumped or siphoned into the potable water supply due to backsiphonage and or backpressure. This compact modular design with a single access cover for easy maintenance consists of a short lay length lightweight stainless steel body, outside stem and yoke resilient seated gate valves, test cocks, thermoplastic cam-check valves, and a corrosive resistant stainless steel bottom mounted relief valve. It comes furnished with a gallon per minute meter to detect underground leaks and unauthorized water use.

The Ames 5000SS comes with a 3/4″ 4000B bypass assembly.
