Ames 3000SS-OSY-TS-GPM 4" Double Check Detector Assembly

Ames 3000SS double check detector backflow preventer assembly is designed to prevent the reverse flow of fire protection substances and water of non-potable quality from being pumped or siphoned into the potable water supply due to backsiphonage and or backpressure. This compact modular design with a single access cover for easy maintenance is approved for horizontal and vertical flow up installation. It consists of a lightweight stainless steel body, outside stem and yoke resilient seated gate valves, UL Listed tamper switch, captured spring check valves, and four test cocks. It comes furnished with a gallon per minute meter to detect underground leaks and unauthorized water use.

The Ames 3000SS comes with a 3/4" 2000BM3 for the bypass assembly.
